Considerations in the Management of Covid-19 in Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease

Abstract: The purpose of this review is to synthesize the existing evidence on the management of Covid-19 in patients with chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury. The evidence reviewed is a summary of relevant scientific publications, expert opinions, and current practice guidelines in regard to prevention, inpatient, and outpatient management as it relates to treating Covid-19; summation of management of other diseases in conjunction with Covid-19 have not been detailed. This review does not include a formal systemic review of evidence.
